[The first hurdle is cleared... He sets the tray back down and then sets his hands at his hips, looking quite pleased!]
Lots of things! I couldn't really figure out how to make an entirely new ingredient- [for the good of everyone here, honestly] -but I did make some new types of old ingredients. Try a piece first and then I'll tell you more about it!
[THAT'S ASKING FOR TROUBLE but he seems confident...]
[OFF TO GET A KNIFE HE GOES and fortunately the dishes get done even in this apartment full of frilly nobles, so there's a clean one waiting to be used.]
All right! This big? [He'll measure out a piece but then start cutting before he gets an answer anyway?! It's definitely sizable... Once he's done, he'll plate it and hold it out with a fork.]
All right! So the crust part is chocolate graham crackers, the filling in between the layers is chocolate custard- [that he had help with making because boy he'd have hecked that one up otherwise] -and the top layer is marshmallow fluff! My friend taught me how to make caramel too, so that's in the part with brownie pieces.
[Thank you for the helpful illustration on how to eat a burger, Nice. Also this is the first time he's ever heard anyone describe a food they like in terms that don't use "delicious" or at least "kinda tasty"...]
You don't like the flavor? Or is it okay, but you just like the convenience more?
I guess so... What do you think about the burgers at McCeres?
[He's heard a lot about them but still hasn't actually tried one yet, if only because one of the first pieces of advice he got upon arrival was "don't eat the burgers". WHAT A LIFE.]

[He looks at the chocolate lasagna in awe, looking pretty surprised that it even looks edible.]
What's in it?

[Nice.
Okay, but he walks over to the tray, and then looks at it --]
A knife or something would probably be a good idea.
[So he can cut a piece and stuff.]

[OFF TO GET A KNIFE HE GOES and fortunately the dishes get done even in this apartment full of frilly nobles, so there's a clean one waiting to be used.]
How big do you want your first piece to be?
no subject
Pretty big. I want a lot.
[Of course.]
no subject
All right! This big? [He'll measure out a piece but then start cutting before he gets an answer anyway?! It's definitely sizable... Once he's done, he'll plate it and hold it out with a fork.]
Here you go!
[IS HE READY.]
no subject
He examines it when he takes the plate and fork again, but then puts some on the fork and pops it into his mouth.
Processing...]
Hey, not bad. I have a friend who'd probably like this, but he's not here.
[Too bad.]
no subject
Oh, really? If he ever shows up, I can make it again! Oh— or I could teach you how to make it, if you want! It's not that hard.
[Obviously, because it had to be at the level Oz could handle...]
no subject
I'll get you to make it again.
[He can't even make onigiri ok]
Nobody can make something like the way the first person did, anyway.
[Good save??]
no subject
If that's the case, I'll do my best for you! But I can tell you what's in it anyway, if you're still curious.
no subject
Yeah, tell me what's in it.
[He can tell there's a chocolatey...things in there but.]

That's pretty cool. It's definitely new...maybe not new ingredients, but I've never seen anything like this before.
[So at least there's that.]
no subject
[He's always at the top of his game when it comes to being timely!! ...Most of the time!]
I think this is a pretty good start, anyway.
no subject
[Eating a little bit more.]
Not that I could eat this for days or anything, but sweets aren't as much my thing as hamburgers are.
no subject
[He seems surprised for some reason?! Maybe Nice just doesn't look like a hamburger kinda guy...]
no subject
[Hamburgers are his and Hajime's Thing, ok]
no subject
no subject
[That's probably not what he's talking about, even if he is miming it now.]
They're easy and cheap.
no subject
You don't like the flavor? Or is it okay, but you just like the convenience more?
no subject
[Even though it is pretty depressing...]

[He's heard a lot about them but still hasn't actually tried one yet, if only because one of the first pieces of advice he got upon arrival was "don't eat the burgers". WHAT A LIFE.]

[Also:]
They're pretty cheap, too.
[That's the priority here, to be honest.]
no subject
Huh. I think you're the first person I've talked to who's actually said that.
no subject
I just prefer to not be a picky person. I mean, it's not like I have enough money to be picky anyway.
[He needs to get a job.]
