[HE'S ALWAYS DRAMATIC. He's just extra dramatic now to fit the... situation. Or something?!]
It's this!
[AND VOILA!! From the cooling rack, he'll pull out a tray with... SOMETHING WEIRD ON IT. It looks similar to chocolate lasagna, whatever it is, and smells faintly of s'mores...]
[The first hurdle is cleared... He sets the tray back down and then sets his hands at his hips, looking quite pleased!]
Lots of things! I couldn't really figure out how to make an entirely new ingredient- [for the good of everyone here, honestly] -but I did make some new types of old ingredients. Try a piece first and then I'll tell you more about it!
[THAT'S ASKING FOR TROUBLE but he seems confident...]
[OFF TO GET A KNIFE HE GOES and fortunately the dishes get done even in this apartment full of frilly nobles, so there's a clean one waiting to be used.]
All right! This big? [He'll measure out a piece but then start cutting before he gets an answer anyway?! It's definitely sizable... Once he's done, he'll plate it and hold it out with a fork.]
All right! So the crust part is chocolate graham crackers, the filling in between the layers is chocolate custard- [that he had help with making because boy he'd have hecked that one up otherwise] -and the top layer is marshmallow fluff! My friend taught me how to make caramel too, so that's in the part with brownie pieces.
audio
Ok well, I'm on my way.
[Because he's really curious about the new and unique thing that Oz has up his sleeve..]
audio
I'll be waiting!
[AND HE WILL BE, right at the door. Clearly someone is excited.]
audio
But he ends the conversation after that because he's moving to leave, and it's not too long before he arrives at Oz's place.
Well, here we go...and he's knocking on the door.]
no subject
You came quickly!
[The interior of the apartment... actually smells pretty good?! Whatever it is, it appears to be something sweet judging by scent alone.]
no subject
I'm not that far away.
[And he steps in, taking off his shoes at the door and smelling the air. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad???]
So, what'd you make?
no subject
Turning abruptly and running over to the kitchen, where he excitedly slaps his hands down on the counter!!]
I made... dissener!!
[why
That's also definitely pronounced like it's just a mashup between the words dessert and dinner.]
no subject
[That. Sounds so weird...and why is he acting so dramatic
why?]
What's dissener?
[He gets that it sounds like a mashup but that doesn't mean he understands it.]
no subject
It's this!
[AND VOILA!! From the cooling rack, he'll pull out a tray with... SOMETHING WEIRD ON IT. It looks similar to chocolate lasagna, whatever it is, and smells faintly of s'mores...]
no subject
[He looks at the chocolate lasagna in awe, looking pretty surprised that it even looks edible.]
What's in it?
no subject
Lots of things! I couldn't really figure out how to make an entirely new ingredient- [for the good of everyone here, honestly] -but I did make some new types of old ingredients. Try a piece first and then I'll tell you more about it!
[THAT'S ASKING FOR TROUBLE but he seems confident...]
no subject
[Nice.
Okay, but he walks over to the tray, and then looks at it --]
A knife or something would probably be a good idea.
[So he can cut a piece and stuff.]
no subject
[OFF TO GET A KNIFE HE GOES and fortunately the dishes get done even in this apartment full of frilly nobles, so there's a clean one waiting to be used.]
How big do you want your first piece to be?
no subject
Pretty big. I want a lot.
[Of course.]
no subject
All right! This big? [He'll measure out a piece but then start cutting before he gets an answer anyway?! It's definitely sizable... Once he's done, he'll plate it and hold it out with a fork.]
Here you go!
[IS HE READY.]
no subject
He examines it when he takes the plate and fork again, but then puts some on the fork and pops it into his mouth.
Processing...]
Hey, not bad. I have a friend who'd probably like this, but he's not here.
[Too bad.]
no subject
Oh, really? If he ever shows up, I can make it again! Oh— or I could teach you how to make it, if you want! It's not that hard.
[Obviously, because it had to be at the level Oz could handle...]
no subject
I'll get you to make it again.
[He can't even make onigiri ok]
Nobody can make something like the way the first person did, anyway.
[Good save??]
no subject
If that's the case, I'll do my best for you! But I can tell you what's in it anyway, if you're still curious.
no subject
Yeah, tell me what's in it.
[He can tell there's a chocolatey...things in there but.]
no subject
All right! So the crust part is chocolate graham crackers, the filling in between the layers is chocolate custard- [that he had help with making because boy he'd have hecked that one up otherwise] -and the top layer is marshmallow fluff! My friend taught me how to make caramel too, so that's in the part with brownie pieces.
no subject
That's pretty cool. It's definitely new...maybe not new ingredients, but I've never seen anything like this before.
[So at least there's that.]
no subject
[He's always at the top of his game when it comes to being timely!! ...Most of the time!]
I think this is a pretty good start, anyway.
no subject
[Eating a little bit more.]
Not that I could eat this for days or anything, but sweets aren't as much my thing as hamburgers are.
no subject
[He seems surprised for some reason?! Maybe Nice just doesn't look like a hamburger kinda guy...]
no subject
[Hamburgers are his and Hajime's Thing, ok]
